The original six C.A. Meeting Secretaries met to have an organizational and business meeting. They decided they needed an office of some kind. At 1st C.A. World Service Conference,February 8-9, 1986at the Holiday Inn Embarcadero, San Diego, CA, Northern California C.A. members attended, sending six representatives all wearing T-shirts with the logo that they had created. The Conference voted between the CALA logo and the logo that Northern California created. The CALA logo won and is the same … Read more
Since Northern California had the first metal chip, the chip company would not make chips for C.A. World Service. In 1987 Northern California deeded to C.A. World Services the right to make metal chips with the C.A. logo that was voted on in 1986 first World Service Conference.
While attending the C.A. World Convention in Cleveland (1994) I met a man who had travelled from Uganda to Cleveland for business.
