The Octagonal Shape of Chicago’s Sobriety Chip was chosen because it replicates a “traffic stop sign” signifying the amount of time a C.A. Member had “stopped” using cocaine. The early “C.A.” logo (pictured right) was designed by Randy R. of Chicago.
Business meetings occurred every Tuesday night at the home of Johnny S. (May/June 1983) to work on public information, phone lines, chips, formats, steps, traditions, chips, and logo.
